80:10:10 minces are classed as a complementary feed. They are a balanced base but not a complete in themselves. Make sure to feed as many protein options, aiming for at least four over the course of a week or two - beef, chicken,duck, pork, turkey, lamb for example. You may also choose to add additional ingredients such as cooked veg or superfoods and/or supplements.
- Remember, quantities given are only a guide. Every dog has a different metabolism, microbiome and nutritional requirements. Feeding raw dog food should be matched to their individual needs. Always pay specific attention to your dog’s weight, physical appearance and toilet habits.
- Puppies up to 16 weeks spread the daily raw food allowance over 4 meals. From 17 to 24 weeks reduce to 3 meals a day. 24 weeks plus, 2 meals a day and Adult dogs ideally feed 1-2 meals a day.
- ALWAYS wash hands, utensils and surfaces after use. Treat the area as you would prepping your own meals.
- This is a frozen product. Once thawed, keep refrigerated in a tub and store as you would any other raw meat. It should keep fresh for 3-4 days. If your pet is small and the food will last more than three days then defrost, portion and refreeze on the first day.
