Part of our exotic proteins range of complementary formula meals, wild boar raw dog food is a delicious nutritious recipe. A blend of quality fresh wild boar meat, ground wild boar bone and wild boar offal (ethically sourced from the Spanish mountains). Packed with leafy seasonal greens, kelp, inulin and infused with the best quality flaxseed oil and hemp oil.

  • Meat

    Premium, human quality, fresh meat provides a single source of quality protein. Delivering all essential amino acids necessary for optimum growth, development and vitality

  • Flaxseed oil

    Plant based source of essential fatty acids, including omega-3, and rich in dietary fibre. Highly recommended for dogs who suffer from skin sensitivities, promoting soft, shiny coats. Also supports gut health, helping inflammatory conditions and digestive disorders.

  • sea kelp

    A potent nutraceutical seaweed rich in protein, iron, iodine, magnesium and omega 3 fatty acids. Iodine content assists in the regulation of the thyroid, pituitary and adrenal activity. Also helps to maintain a healthy inflammatory response, thereby supporting gut, skin and coat condition.

  • GROUND BONE

    Highly beneficial to the digestive system. A source of protein, calcium, phosphorus, diverse minerals and healthy fats.

  • hemp oil

    Extracted from seeds of the hemp plant, hemp oil is an exceptionally healthful oil containing bioactive plant compounds such as cannabidiol, terpenes and phenols. Hemp is known to support canine health in many ways, including reducing anxiety and improving mobility. Hemp supports the nervous system, reducing inflammation and can encourage appetite.

    Rich in the prebiotic fibre inulin. Prebiotics help maintain healthy gut flora- which in turn support a dog's immune system. Chicory Root also supports the digestive system, aids the breakdown and digestion of food, assists in the absorption of nutrients and is rich in antioxidants.

  • seasonal greens

    Green vegetables such as broccoli, kale, cabbage, spring greens are allpacked with dietary fibre and a host of highly nutritious vitamins, minerals and antioxidants providing plant-powered micro-nutrients to support your dog at a cellular level.

  • offal

    Packed full of nutrients including calcium, iron, thiamin, riboflavin and niacin.

Moisture – the natural presence found in the ingredients
Protein – are biological molecules consisting of one or more amino acid chains
Fat – includes all fats: saturated fats, trans fats, and the unsaturated fats, polyunsaturated and monounsaturated
Ash (inorganic matter) – the inorganic residue remaining after the water and organic matter have been removed. [Ash is left over after analysis of the food. We do not add fire-ash to our products]
Fibre – the term given to the soluble and insoluble plant-based part of the food

RAW FEEDING GUIDE

ProDog Wild Boar Formula is a human-quality, raw meat product and should be handled observing standard hygiene rules.

  • Remember, quantities given are only a guide. Every dog has a different metabolism, microbiome and nutritional requirements. Feeding raw dog food should be matched to their individual needs. Always pay specific attention to your dog’s weight, physical appearance and toilet habits.
  • Puppies up to 16 weeks spread the daily raw food allowance over 4 meals. From 17 to 24 weeks reduce to 3 meals a day. 24 weeks plus, 2 meals a day and Adult dogs ideally feed 1-2 meals a day.
  • ALWAYS wash hands, utensils and surfaces after use. Treat the area as you would prepping your own meals.
  • This is a frozen product. Once thawed, keep refrigerated in a tub and store as you would any other raw meat. It should keep fresh for 3-4 days. If your pet is small and the food will last more than three days then defrost, portion and refreeze on the first day.
